Make your reservations now for this year's Blair Disc Project! This year we'll be visiting the Treehouse Camp, located just outside of Burkittsville, MD. The 2012 Blair Disc Project will be a regular AAC competition held on Saturday afternoon, November 3. Some of the braver ones in our group will be camping on Friday and Saturday nights and I’m sure we will plan some creative and fun extra-curricular activities for the dogs and handlers to round out their weekend! Everyone is invited to spend the weekend or just to participate in the competition on Saturday. We do have a field rental cost for this event so there will be a small fee for competing, and all those who do plan to camp must make their arrangements directly with the campground.

A two night reservation is required; we plan on arriving Friday November 2 and the event will be on Saturday. Older cottages are $56 a night and newer ones are $70 a night. Cottages have wood stoves and beds, and hot showers are available.

Make your reservation by calling Louise at (301) 432-5585 and mention that you're with AAC!

Calling all beach lovers (canine & humans)!

We have confirmed our Salty Dog 2012 weekend, September 29–30, at Atlantic Oceanside. While our main events are on the weekend, many members decide to come early or stay a little late. Please use AAC or Frisbee dogs when making your reservation.

New to Salty Dog? You might want to check out this overview of the licensing rules.

Dogs must be licensed. Licenses are only available to be purchased at the Town Hall. They cannot be purchased by mail. The town hall is open 9 AM - 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday only. During the periods when the main window (left side of the lobby entry) is closed, dog licenses may be purchased at the police window (right side of the lobby entry). The fee, defined by the town code, is $15 per dog. The license is valid for the life of the dog. You will need to provide them with the date of the last rabies inoculation (from your rabies vaccination certificate).
